Who We Are

We are a nonprofit organization founded by parents who understand firsthand the challenges of raising a child who is visually impaired with additional disabilities. After experiencing the profound impact of privately funded vision services for our own daughter, we launched this organization to ensure other families can access the same life-changing support — without financial or systemic barriers.

OUr MISSION & VISION

We are dedicated to helping children who are visually impaired with additional disabilities beyond age 3, gain greater access to vision services in their homes and communities.

A world where every child who is visually impaired with additional disabilities, regardless of income or diagnosis, receives the early and ongoing support they need to reach their fullest potential — and where families feel confident, supported, and equipped to advocate for their child’s future.

Our goal is to bridge the financial burden by assisting families and connecting them to private Teachers of the Visually Impaired so their children have access to individualized interventions.

CORE VALUES

- Equity in Access
We work to eliminate financial and systemic barriers so that all children with multiple disabilities can access the services they need.

- Family-Centered Support
We empower families with knowledge, tools, and support — recognizing them as key partners in their child’s growth.

- Individualized, High-Quality Services
We promote vision services tailored to each child’s unique needs and abilities, with a focus on meaningful, functional progress.

- Collaboration and Advocacy
We build strong networks with families, professionals, and communities to amplify impact and drive change.

- Compassion and Respect
We honor every child and family with empathy, dignity, and understanding, meeting them where they are and walking beside them.

What We Do

Funding Personalized Vision Support
We provide financial assistance to families for private vision services and adapted equipment/materials that are not covered outside of school.

Connecting Families with Experienced TVIs
We facilitate access to highly trained Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) who work directly in homes and communities, offering customized, one-on-one support tailored to each child's unique needs.

Resource Support -
When the system stops, we step in. Families often feel lost when the state of Colorado stops covering vision services at age 3. We guide parents through the uncertainty — offering personalized support, expert services, and a compassionate community that understands.
