We’re not just founders — we’re parents. Our organization was born from personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating services for children with complex needs.
As parents of a child who is visually impaired and has additional disabilities, we quickly learned how difficult it can be to access consistent, high-quality vision support — especially once Colorado state coverage ends at age three. Like many families, we were left to fill the gap on our own.
Determined to give our daughter the best opportunity to thrive, we made the decision to privately fund services from a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). The impact was profound. With the right support in place, our daughter made significant developmental gains — not only in her visual functioning, but also in her ability to interact with her environment. She even learned how to drive a power wheelchair — something no one thought she could do. She began participating more fully in daily routines, engaging with her surroundings, and collaborating with her team of therapists and educators in ways that once seemed out of reach.
Just as importantly, we as parents gained knowledge, tools, and confidence. Working closely with the TVI empowered us to better support our daughter’s needs across settings and to advocate more effectively within the educational system.
That experience changed everything — and it sparked a calling.
We founded this nonprofit to ensure other families don’t have to walk this road alone. Our mission is to increase access to critical vision services for children with visual impairments and additional disabilities, particularly when insurance or public systems no longer provide them. We are committed to being a resource, an advocate, and a bridge — connecting families to the support they need to help their children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to see their world more clearly — and every parent deserves the tools to help them get there. Please join us in this fight.
Be a part of the change — because every child deserves the chance to see their world.

Our faith inspires our work. We believe every child is made in God’s image and worthy of dignity, support, and a future filled with hope.
